Renko is an award winning speaker, marketing and sales professional and past president of Berlin's successful speech club Mercury Toastmasters.
 

I’m a Belgian communication pro living in Berlin who’s passionate about marketing, public speaking and philanthropy. I started boosting my speaking and leaderships skills during my studies and continued ever since.

After winning the Toastmasters District 95 Humorous Speech Contest 2015 in Prague I’ve been asked to coach and assist people write and deliver their speeches and (TEDx) Talks. 
Besides that I've given workshops on (humorous) speaking, vocal variety, persuasion, networking and sales-techniques.

At Toastmasters I’ve been a long running Mentor for new members. I help them to overcome their fear of public speaking, improve their delivery and storytelling skills. 
I've been part of the Board at Mercury, an English speaking Toastmasters club in Berlin, both as President and Vice-President Membership. As the President I presided over club meetings, led and guided the board to create a nurturing learning environment and enhance club quality. 

I have written for the online edition of Belgians biggest newspaper ‘The Standaard’ about my experiences living abroad. I currently live and work in Berlin as a Business Development Manager for a software company.  
My experience in previous marketing and sales roles give that extra insight in persuasiveness which is essential to activate an audience.

I am described as somebody who sees the bigger picture, hands on and result driven.
My irrepressible enthusiasm, nerve and devotion are my biggest success factors to make a coaching session succeed.
